General terms and conditions

All inquiries and bookings shall be submitted through our website or in person at the reception of our camp. By reserving a capacity through this website, the user declares that they accept these General Terms and Conditions pertaining to the service in full. Everything listed below thus becomes binding for both the user of the service and for Camp Lupis.

When reserving a capacity, the user of the service shall provide all required information. In order for a booking to be considered valid, the user of the service must guarantee their booking by paying a deposit.

Payment shall be made upon arrival at the reception, by credit card or cash, or by payment to a business bank account.

Your personal data are fully protected.

All bookings shall be considered valid only after the payment of the deposit. The deposit amount shall be fully deducted from the amount of the final invoice with respect to the booking made.

Discounts do not add up.

Pursuant to regulations governing the payment of the accommodation tax, the user of the service shall pay the accommodation tax when paying for accommodation at the camp.

Service price represents the amount per person/day as stated in the price list for the services. Additional services are not included in the price and the user pays extra for such services. Camp Lupis reserves the right to change the prices of services at any time. For customers who have paid a deposit or provided an acceptable guarantee for the booking, Camp Lupis guarantees to charge them the prices that were valid at the time of the booking. Prices and terms and conditions stated in the valid price list shall apply for stays without a booking.

The facility and accommodation units within Camp Lupis are categorized by the competent authorities of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia in accordance with applicable legislation.

Camp Lupis reserves the right to change the booking or the manner of service provision at any time, if circumstances beyond our control, which cannot be foreseen, avoided or delayed, should arise. The confirmed accommodation unit can be replaced with an accommodation unit of the same or higher category, given that the price that was valid at the time of booking confirmation remains unchanged and that the guest was informed about the change timely. If an alternative accommodation cannot be provided, and the booking is paid in advance, Camp Lupis reserves the right to cancel the booking and refund the full amount paid.

If the guest wants to change or cancel the booking made at their request, they must do so in writing by e-mail.

The following cancellation policy shall applly:

In case of cancellation, compensation shall be paid in accordance with the following terms and conditions:

  • In case of cancellation 91 or more days prior to the start of the booked period, we shall retain 15% of the deposit.
  • In case of cancellation 90 to 61 days prior to the start of the booked period, we shall retain 50% of the deposit.
  • In case of cancellation 60 to 31 days prior to the start of the booked period, we shall retain 75% of the deposit.
  • In case of cancellation 30 days or less prior to the start of the booked period, we shall retain 90% of the deposit.
  • In case of cancellation on the day of arrival, we shall retain 100% of the deposit.
  • The deposit shall be 30% of the amount of the booked accommodation.
  • If the guest fails to arrive, departs early, or shortens they stay, 100% of the price of the entire stay shall be charged. There is no refund option.

In very extreme conditions, such as the coronavirus crisis of 2020, we reserve the right to deviate from the terms and conditions.

At the beginning of the pandemic, in 2020 and 2021, we offered free cancellations and the opportunity to use a deposit in full at the next visit. Travel conditions and the situation with respect to the pandemic have changed in the meantime, and standard terms and conditions now apply.

Camp Lupis shall constantly assess the quality of the service provided, pursuant to legislation, rules of the profession, and generally accepted customs and traditions in the tourism and hospitality industry. The Camp shall strive to fulfill its obligations in full unless circumstances beyond our control should arise.

The user of the service shall obtain all required personal documentation and have it on them on arrival at and on departure from the accommodation units of Camp Lupis. The user of the service shall adhere to the house rules stipulated by Camp Lupis.

If the services from the offer are of poor quality, the guest can file a written complaint. Every guest has the right to complain about the undelivered paid service. Each guest – the holder of the confirmed reservation – shall submit a complaint separately. The guest shall cooperate with the staff of Camp Lupis in good faith in order to eliminate the causes of the complaint.

Complaint procedure:

The guest is obliged to immediately report the inadequate service at the reception or inform Camp Lupis about it via e-mail: marija@camplupis.tcloud.hr, or by mail to the following address: Lovište 68, 20269 Lovište.

Camp Lupis shall confirm the receipt thereof in writing and respond to the complaint within 15 days from the date of submission of the complaint.

All disputes or disagreements shall be resolved amicably in a manner acceptable to both parties, and if no solution can be reached, the arbitration of the locally competent court shall be agreed upon.
